The eight persuasive essays written in this class will be based on selected pieces of American Literature. (The selections will be listed soon.

Looking for a fun math club for your student? Students will apply concepts learned in regular math studies in a multi-sensory method to the topic of horses in the areas of science, equine sports, math, and stable management.

This class is an enrichment class, NOT a substitute for daily math learning. Tuition includes Horse Lover's Math, Level 1 workbook.

Class Details:

  • Robust experimental science experience—Labs in class let you skip the mess at home!
  • All lab supplies are provided by the instructor and included in pricing.
  • Labs are designed to supplement science textbook studies at home.
  • Classes will be divided conveniently into modules, with suggested reading schedules provided allowing parents to coordinate with reading/studies at home.
  • Parents are responsible for purchasing textbooks and supervising studies at home.
  • Concepts will be reviewed in class as we complete experiments and projects.
  • Both classes will have a unit on experimental science in which we will work step-by-step through the experimental process to complete a project that can be entered in the Alaska State Science Fair in March.  
  • Middle school (6th-8th grade) will learn and practice writing a lab report over several weeks.
  • Detailed schedule will be released by August 1.
